WHAT WE DO – Harapan Project

Harapan means HOPE in Indonesian.

Harapan Project is an NGO, that has been working since 2010 in the island of Sumbawa in Indonesia; improving children’s education and health care, between many other programs.

Our Programs:

MEDICAL: We give free medical assistance to sick children and we implement other programs aimed to the entire population.

EDUCATION: We teach in the 3 local schools of Hu ́u district, and carry out many sports programs and environmental activities.

AGRICULTURE: Organic agriculture School with the aim to teach local population organic gardening skills.

YOUTH EMPOWER: We sponsor youth to get formation during 5 months stays in the best agriculture schools in Indonesia.

SOCIAL: We provide assistance to people in situations of special need.

NATURAL DISASTER: We provide assistance to victims of natural disaster.

DAYS FOR GIRLS: We delivery kits with reusable organic panty liners and give education regarding menstruation, sex education and prevention of STD.

COVID19: We help the local population and local government in the prevention of Covid19.
